Vice President of Business Development
Michael Block joined the company in 2012 to create and lead the business development department at Lannett. His progress through the organization has included various titles, culminating in his promotion to vice president of business development in 2019. Over his tenure, Mike has played a pivotal role in numerous product and organizational transactions, as well as key licensing deals for the company. Mike also implemented an alliance management function, which is designed to enhance the services Lannett provides to our partners.
Prior to joining Lannett, Michael was president of international operations at Universal Marine Medical Supply, a distributor of pharmaceutical and medical products. Prior to that, he held a contract manager role at Premier Generics, a buying group for generic pharmaceutical wholesalers.

Michael earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Rutgers University in New Jersey. He has also received executive level training in business development and alliance management.
